| Conclusion | I bought a Nidecker Megalight last season and was very impressed with it because of its many features. You get a great speedboost when coming out of a nice carve-turn because of its very directional shape and handles very stable at high speeds on the piste. The Megalight has a prolonged nose and tail which offer more floating surface when you go Off-piste into the powder. This allowed me to go faster and kept me going on those flat powder spots. I highly recommend the Megalight if your looking for a great freeride experience on the piste and in the powder. |

| Conclusion | Owned an original Nidecker Mega Light 167cm (Silver/grey & black)and this board literally stepped me up to the steep and deep at Mammoth Mt. Super fast and smooth through any snow. Now ride Never Summer T5 and Steepwater only comp. for Mega Light (though heavier). Gave my Nidecker to a good friend to enjoy (his 1st board).Would buy another and highly recommend for advanced/deep powder riders.Pt |

| Conclusion | I rode this board a couple of times and while it was very fast and responsive I wasn’t crazy about it. It was a little too jittery which I felt was a problem in chunkier snow or powder that had been chopped up. I ride a Nidecker carving board so I am used to very responsive and fast boards but this one felt hyper-responsive to the point of being jittery. I ended up getting the Nidecker Legend which is, in my opinion, far superior. |

| Conclusion | I was lucky enough to rent a Megalight Demo Board a couple of years ago. The next day I was at the same boardshop buying my own Mega. This board is great. Super light and responsive. My only complaint is that it so expensive, but I can understand why. It’s handmade in Switzerland and contains carbon fiber and kevlar. Pretty high tech stuff. |
